So I know that Easter has been and gone and its almost another weekend but whilst being away I didn't have a computer and the signal where we stayed wasn't very good so I just wanted to share with you a few pictures and what I got up to over the Easter weekend.
The week leading up to our little trip wasn't great as I had been very ill so going anywhere seemed difficult, especially with the weather being so cold and awful and because we were going to Scotland I was preparing myself for some even more cold weather. The night before I packed my bag and grabbed my warmest jumpers and a pile of thermals and the next day we were off.
We stayed in a country lodge surrounded by amazing views in a valley on the outskirts of a small village. It was quite isolated but it was nice to get away from the city. There were loads of different rooms in the house, it was huge! Every room I went in seemed to get bigger and bigger, it was crazy! And outside was a private garden as well as our very own Jacuzzi, and what made it even better was that the sun was shining. It was so lovely!
During the day we spent alot of time exploring the grounds of where we were staying as well as the villages near by. My mum and I also discovered that the farm across the road from us was very busy due to it being Lambing season so obviously we couldn't stay away and had to have a sneaky peak in the barn and before we knew it we'd made friends with the farmer and were helping out with bottle feeding the baby lambs. We went every morning and most evenings, it was so adorable, we wanted to take them all home with us.
All in all we had a brilliant time and every day the weather got warmer and warmer, amazing!
