Lights, Camera And Action... Kinda?

A few months back I received a wonderful present from my parents, a SX50 HS Power Shot Canon Camera. I absolutely love photography and I never stop taking pictures, wherever I go my camera tends to go too, its a real passion of mine as it allows you to be creative and capture great memories in the process which you can keep forever.
I'd already taken loads of photos before I took these of various sceneries, sunsets, wildlife, pets, family, freinds...
etc. but I hadn't actually tried it out on myself. This camera has a Vari-Angle monitor which makes taking photos from a strange angles, for example; if you're in a crowd at a concert or watching a parade and you can't see whats going on you can move the monitor to the best angle so that you can. Meaning that you wont just get a random photo of loads of peoples heads but you'll actually get the shot you wanted! Hurray! It can also turn all the way around meaning that you can do self portraits (or selfies) or you and your friends too. So that being said I decided to give it a go.

I've taken quite a few silly ones, as you can imagine, selfies do usually result in me and my friends making horrific faces and taking mugshots but I've chosen a few which aren't too hideous, plus have really nice lighting (I also look like I've got quite a good tan so it's even better!)

For makeup I've chosen a very natural look with abit of eyeliner and mascara, bronzer by Barry M and pink lipstick by BodyShop.
