Hey guys, I just thought I'd do another post on hair care with my little tips and tricks on how I keep my hair in good condition but this time include what hair colouring products I use to achieve my pale blonde colour with minimal damage!
I've been having my hair highlighted since I was fourteen, although I did go brunette for a short period of time so basically had to start again with becoming blonde but anyways! I hardly ever use bleach on my hair (I've only ever used it 3 times) which I think is why I've managed to keep my hair so long and in such good condition for all these years. I am however very lucky as I do have very strong hair naturally which in my opinion has also helped me keep the length.
To keep my hair hydrated I use regular conditioning treatment masks and use lots of coconut oil, particularly on the ends, after every wash and then every other night - this helps to keep my hair super soft and stops the ends from becoming very brittle and snapping.
The colouring products I use are Rusk deepshine with a 6% peroxide (I have also used 12% in the past). I previously used Ash Blonde with TAC - this lifts the hair a few extra shades to help achieve a really blonde finish. However, I have recently started using Neutral Blonde, without the TAC, and this is the outcome of this colour in these photos.
I normally have a whole head of highlights done every 3-4 months and have half a head every 4-6 weeks but for a change, in this picture, I have just had my T section done (down the middle of my head and across the front section nearest my face) but I think it worked really well! Perfect for getting rid of regrowth but looking as natural as possible and not taking as long as half a head of highlights.
I absolutely love these products, they leave my hair feeling very soft and so, so shiny and having blonde hair can be quite tricky to keep looking healthy and vibrant but these work a treat! If you're looking to try a new hair colour I would highly recommend these.
So I hope you've found my post interesting, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Enjoy the rest of your day and don't forget to check my blog for more updates, there will be lots of new posts to come! I've been working all this week on my blog and have been doing lots of outfit shoots so please stay tuned.
Much love xox

Now everyone says that you should have a trim at least every 4-6 weeks to prevent split ends and keep your hair in tip top form. However, I am very bad when it comes to visiting the hairdressers, I just can't face cutting my hair, I feel so naked without it! I also like having thinner ends rather than a blunt, straight across look. But luckily for me my mum's a hairdresser, and makeup artist, so she cuts and highlights my hair for me and because we are both very attached to having long, luxurious locks she never takes too much off.
