I haven't been blogging for very long and trying to get started hasn't been the easiest thing but this has really given me the confidence boost to work harder and continue with my blog. It was such a lovely and very unexpected surprise to be featured.
I've always been quite anxious about whether or not people would enjoy reading my blog and if they'll like my sense of style and photography work. Coming up with interesting topics to write about that people will actual want to read, fashion trends for OOTD posts, taking the 'perfect' photos can be really tricky. As well as choosing which social media sites to use and gaining a larger audience for your blog etc. isn't the easiest thing either! It also doesn't help when you're not the most decisive person in the world.
So many bloggers who I follow on Instagram, Twitter and Blogger just seem so effortlessly stylish and have such a way of writing lovely and inspiring pieces that it can make you feel abit intimidated because its all so wonderfully put together. I sometimes really struggle with just how to put my posts together; making sure to include lots of detail and putting care into my writing yet not making the posts too long, and then choosing the best photo's to go alongside it so the articles are not only interesting but eye pleasing too! The amount of pictures I've taken for my blog that have had bad lighting, aren't focused on the right thing or ones that just aren't in focus at all (the most annoying ones are photos which are just slightly out of focus but are really nice) is crazy! Clothing not hanging right, bra straps showing, hair wrapped around my face because of a sudden breeze haha! The struggles!
But the wonderful thing about blogging, well the thing I love most about it, is being able to express your creativity and then seeing all the ideas you've had for what to write about and photograph, coming together to create something beautiful that you can then share with others. Thats what I love the most ♡ and if that wasn't a good enough feeling when you see that somebody has not only read your blog but has found it captivating enough to leave you a nice comment saying how much they like your style, writing or photography just makes you feel even more inspired to write more.

Moving onto social media, I would love to hear peoples opinions on YouTube and LookBook as I've seen that lots of bloggers use them both, would you say they're useful? I would be quite interested in doing makeup tutorials, outfit videos etc. what do you think? Would you look at them if I were to start a youtube channel, I'd love to hear what you think!
Also what are your favourite social media sites and favourite topics to blog about and read, comment in the comment box below as I'd love to hear about other bloggers experiences, stories of how you got started and anything else you'd love to share or ask other bloggers!

Hi Gina Christié einen schönen Blog hast du da. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu deinen Feature! Sowas spornt natürlichrichtig an :) Da ich auch erst vor kurzen einen Blog erstellt habe, kann ich die Arbeit die dahinter steckt gut nachvollziehen. Gerade immer neue Ideen sich auszudenken oder intersssante Texte und Fotos zu erstellen ist nicht immer einfach aber es macht ja auch Spass. Ich merke gerade das es jetzt am Anfang die meiste Arbeit neben den Schreiben, das bekannt machen des Bloges ist. Das kostet ziehmlich viel Zeit. Jede Social Media Pattform erhöt natürlich deine Reichweite, um die potenziellen Leser auf dich aufmerksam zu machen. Der rest is ja eigentlich nur Posten Posten Posten. Ich finde deine Blog auf jedenfall sehr schön und ich denke das noch viele Leser bekommen wirst. LG Marcel von Marsilicious

DeleteYes, its definitely all about social media when blogging, I've found twitter exceptionally helpful (thats how I got a feature from Pick a Blogger), if you haven't already got twitter I would highly recommend it as it is a big help for sharing your blogs content, you also find other great bloggers too! :)
