There's nothing quite like waking up every morning to sunshine, fresh fruit and a swim in the sea. I've definitely got used to this lifestyle but sadly this holiday is coming to an end. We've been spending alot of time on the beach and in the water and I just love it! It's such a perfect start to the day and what makes it even more perfect is that the water is crystal clear and not too cold.
Swimming is such a peaceful sport, especially when you're in the sea surrounded by little fish, I could just watch them for hours (and I pretty much did). I'm normally terrible for feeling the cold but when I was in the water, exploring the ocean floor and swimming with the fish I wasn't. I was diving about for hours.
We also went scuba diving a few days previous to when these photos were taken. I'd never been before so it was quite a scary experience but it was really fun once I got the hang of it - its just such a strange concept; breathing underwater? What! But it was great, I did however have abit of trouble with my ears due to the pressure, I was concentrating so much on equalising I completely forget about everything else and because my weights were a little heavy I kept sinking haha! But it was brilliant and I had a great teacher ;) Chris used to live in Spain and whilst being there he was a diving instructor so it was an even better experience for me being able to go with him, I'm very lucky to have him.
After snorkeling, we went exploring. We walked to the other side of the beach and took a path which lead around a cliff. There was even a small castle and a tunnel which cut through the rock, it was such a pretty place and when you looked down onto the sea there were loads of rock pools. This one pictured below was so beautiful, all we wanted to do was go and swim in it and we did try but sadly there was no way of getting to it apart from swimming and that was quite a long way (we also had a bag of clothes with us, towels and our phones).
Not too far away from the rock pool was this beach, it was quiet and secluded. We went for a swim and Chris dived off the large rock in the sea pictured above. It was quite scary because this beach was very rocky but thankfully he was okay (although he didn't try it again haha!).
