Hello, I hope everyones having a fabulous friday! Here are some more of my photos from my trip to Spain, as promised. We woke up, had breakfast and headed straight out to explore the beautiful city of Lloret De Mar (and to find the perfect spot to go swimming).
We ended up driving not too far away to Santa Cristina, a beautiful beach surrounded by trees and nature. The water was incredible and the waves were enormous, it was so much fun (apart from accidently swallowing abit too much salt water when I got knocked over by a huge wave haha!) but it was totally worth it.
After swimming and bathing in the sun we headed back to the car and started our journey to Tossa De Mar. Passing back through the town we then drove up into the cliffs where we stopped to take photos of the stunning view.
Once we arrived we parked the car and went for a walk around the town. We walked along the seafront and decided to go and visit the castle but first we stopped for food. We were both starving after our swimming, we ate Seafood Paella and drank Sangria in a small restaurant over looking the beach - it was so yummy and such a lovely place. Once we finished we began our walk up to the castle where the views were even more outstanding.
There were lots of little paths leading through the castle, my favourite was this one pictured below, I could have stayed here for hours just looking out over the sea, it was truly amazing.
We walked into the small streets of the city where every turn revealed something new and interesting; antique shops filled with beautiful jewellery, fine china and paintings, clothing shops, frozen yogurt and smoothy bars, restaurants, adorable little Bed and Breakfasts and everywhere looked as though it was out of a painting. As we got further into the city there was alot more hustle and bustle but it was nice to just walk quietly though those little lanes.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it (and choosing the photos to go along side it). More posts about my holiday are to come so don't miss them!
Happy Friday xox
