Hey babes, I hope you're all having a wonderful summer! This posts is just simply going to be about my quick trip to London. My mum and I left our home in the late morning, it was quite a grey day so we made sure we had our layers incase the weather got colder but when we arrived in London it was SO HOT! I love warm, summery days but it was quite unbearable at times and it wasn't made any better by having to carry all our wintery layers haha! Non the less we had a great day.
We stopped in a little cafe for a nice cup of tea and refreshments and then headed to Oxford Street where I got a pretty rare photo opportunity - taking a photo in the middle of the road in busy London's retail wonderland.
We went to H&M, Zara, Forever 21 and possibly my new favourite shop Stradivarius. They had such great clothes and I absolutely loved the various styles they had on show, particularly their "Metallised" Silver Shoes (that come in sneakers and in brogues) as they'll look good with any outfit, turning basic into bold.
We didn't buy that much, I brought a red dress in the sales at Forever 21, a button up denim skirt (which I've been wanting for ages!) from Stradivarius and I got my mum some sunglasses - but don't feel too bad that my mum didn't get more things, we're the same size so we're always stealing each others clothes and she picked out the red dress that I brought anyways haha!
It was a really nice, mother-daughter day trip and hopefully next time we'll be abit more suitably dressed for a hot summers day.
Speak soon xox
