Hey guys, so this is a post I'm especially excited about as its from my recent trip to Paris. Not only was this adventure a first trip to Paris with a friend but the fact that I got to share it with my closest friend, whom I've known now for almost 9 years now (crazy?!) was even more special and something we will always look back on. In this post I will be sharing some photos of our trip, along with what we got up to, where we stayed, and hopefully soon a Parisian VLOG of our time here as well, as we made a lot of hilarious videos.
After a slightly stressful journey to St Pancras we made our way to our train to Paris. We set off at around 2:30 and arrived in Paris in the late afternoon. My friend Tanni had organised all the details of where we were staying (so no phone internet/4g could stop us from finding it) and so we set off from the Gar du Nord on the metro and began our Parisian Adventure. We however did get into some slight confusion about metros as we were told by the travel info desk at the station the wrong information, so not our fault, and then did get slightly lost when finding the right building but to be fair (again) it was very confusing haha! Our flat was located in a large building numbered 82 and inside the building were two separate apartment blocks but what we didn't realise was that they were both numbered 82... Confusing I know! But after carrying our bags up 4 flights of the wrong stairs, in the wrong apartment building and then finally making our way up the correct 4 flights of stairs we found our apartment and were in need of a little sit down.
After freshening up and having a much needed cup of tea we set off to explore the local area. We found lots of great vintage shops, restaurants and this amazing smoothie bar which was right next to the nicest fruit and vegetable market. So tasty.
The next morning we got up early, got ready and headed straight for the Eiffel Tower but not before getting a smoothie first.
We spent the whole day sight seeing, taking lots of snaps and completely and utterly falling head over heels in love with the beautiful city.
After a walk around a small food fair we had a nice meal in a little restaurant not too far from the Eiffel and then we headed back to our apartment to get ready for the concert.
Tanni had got us tickets to Sean Paul for my Christmas present - we have so many crazy and fun memories which all seem to involve his songs so when she found out he was on tour it was hard to resist not seeing him. And he was amazing, we thought the concert would be good, and obviously for us it would be a really lovely way of remembering lots of old memories but it was even better than we had hoped! It was such a great night! 💗 And he played all of his older songs too, the ones we all know and love 😛
The following morning, unfortunately our last day before heading home, was spent exploring the area around Beaubourg which was really charming. There were loads of restaurants, patisseries - which were were prefect for getting some sweet treats to bring home as well as lots of other little shops. We had a nice lunch directly opposite the Centre Georges Pompidou and then set off to collect our luggage and begin our journey home.

It was such an amazing trip and one I will always look back on and smile. After this trip we will definitely be planning a lot more in the future!
