Midsummer Nights

Hey everybody, I hope you are all well. I have some very exciting news, I have graduated from college! I'm so happy, especially because I missed quite alot of school due to being poorly and therefore fell behind with my work. It seemed that I would be healthy for one week, ill the next and then because I would get so stressed about missing my lessons I would then get more ill... it was a pretty vicious circle. But I am glad to say that with some extra hard work at the end and cramming lots of extra lessons that I passed!

I'm very happy and quite proud of myself, which to be honest I very rarely am but I need to stop being so hard on myself and be proud of the things I achieve and work hard for.

Another thing I am also very pleased about is that I finally know why I have been getting ill so much, I have had Glandular Fever - so it's pretty normal to get ill often and be very tired too. The good thing is, is that I now know why I seem to have been catching every cold, flu and weird bug thats been going around (and why I suddenly seem to be so sleepy for no reason), the slightly annoying thing is that it can take a long time to get over and can sometimes still affect you for up to 6 months?! So lots of vitamins for me! But I'm still pleased that I now know why I've been feeling quite poorly and that I've finally finished school. Hurray!

It's strange how we take such important things, like our health for granted but after this I'm definitely going to be more aware of this and will start to look after myself abit better by eating more healthily, exercising regularly but never forcing myself too and going to bed abit earlier too. But two things I have learn't from being ill are that: antibacterial gel will not solve all germ catching problems, even if it does say kills 99.9% of germs (it certainly hasn't been doing it's job for me if thats the case haha!) and that if you are suffering from a cold or the flu or anything for that matter, don't self diagnose your symptoms on Google as it is never a good idea, ever! A good nights sleep, a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle is all you need.

Going into details about my outfit; this is what I wore for my graduation, plus my strappy black heels. The dress code was smart but casual and I felt that this outfit went really well with that. It was such a hot day as well but this dress kept me so cool, it was perfect and I got so many compliments on it which was really nice.

This dress is pretty easy to wear with anything to many occasions as it can easily be dressed up, with some heels and accessories (and lots of big bouncy curls like I had during the celebration) or dressed down, with some gladiator sandals and denim jacket or oversized shirt for the perfect summer day or afternoon outfit.

Just a few pictures I had to share of my cats helping me with my OOTD shoot hehe!

I just want to say a very big thanks to everyone who helped me whilst I was on my course; my wonderful mummy, family and friends as well as my great teachers because without all of you I would not have the grades and knowledge I have now and without that I wouldn't have graduated.

Thanks for reading my post lovelies and I wish you all the best with any exams or last essays you have. :)

much love everyone and speak soon xox
